London 2012 Festival

The somewhereto_ team are proud and excited to be a part of the London 2012 Festival.

On July 21, somewhereto_ headed to the Weavers’ Triangle in Burnley for ‘Project Triangle’ at Sandygate Square – a day coordinated by somewhereto_ in partnership with Burnley Borough Council and support from Mid Pennine Arts.

Young talent from across the North West were paired with the skills of professionals from within arts, sports and culture. For more information, contact Claire Williams on 01254 674777. To find out how it went, see the blog here.

On 22 July, somewhereto_ in partnership with Nexus Interactive Arts and the National Trust screened a live digital light show on the walls of Tyntesfield House. The neo-Gothic Victorian mansion was brought to life with digital content developed in collaboration with young people from the area following a one-day workshop with the amazing Anti VJ. See how it went here.

The event was part of the Tyntesfield Takeover, an annual event organised by TYNTE and Youth4Youth.

The projection was made possible with the help of Central Presentations (www.cplav.com) a leading supplier of audio-visual equipment hire.
