A great building in Bournemouth with good access by public transport. Loads of spaces have been offered including rehearsal and recording spaces. And, for the green fingered, why not have a go seeing what you can grow in the veggie plot - you could be the next Alan Titchmarsh!

Townsend Youth Centre is a building in the heart of large community in Bournemouth. They have various spaces including main area with a coffee bar, pool table, internet access and a large TV with Wii and PS3. There is also a quiet room for one-to-one or small group work, an art and creativity room, a multi-use space which has been used for band practice and yoga, a fully functioning recording studio with editing facilities for music and video, an outdoor multi-use games area (MUGA) and a vegetable plot. Under 18's need to have a youth worker in the building, but we can work with young people to help them achieve their goals. Over 18's can use the space by negotiation. Would £5,000 help to get your project started? This space is hosting an application surgery and ideas workshop on 27th Feb between 17.30 and 18.30. You need to be aged 11-21 years old to apply.
