Carly needed somewhereto_ hold an exhibition that would feature in her film.
The biggest advantage of using somewhereto_ was that we were able to showcase the work of an artist who hadn’t had any previous opportunities to do so.

what's your thing?
Carly is making a documentary about her friend's sexuality and how it clashes with her religion. One of the features of the film is her friend's expressionist exhibition, based around the theme of rejection, for which they needed a great space to hold it in. The film will be out after 11th May so watch this space.

somewhereto_ found them the perfect space in a church that converts into a gallery.

"As the producer, I was able to gain experience in organising and leading an event, which will be of further use in the future. somewhereto_ couldn't have been any better, we managed to get an amazing space for free which worked fantastically for the event we held. The help we had from Neil Burke, a regional coordinator, was great. He was really friendly and managed to get us a wonderful space sorted out really quickly."
