what's your thing?

Carren's passion is photography and she's already exhibited her incredible work in a number of somewhereto_ projects. This time however she was able to take part in something different and help to influence government policy. There is no end to the possibilities of somewhereto_!

how did somewhereto_ help? 

Carren was among 15 young people from the local community who got the chance to take part in an event where they had the opportunity to influence future government policy around extremism. 

The Department for Communities and Local Government engaged young people in a session around extremism. They focused on what the government could do to stop radical extremist groups such as the EDL and Muslims Against Crusades, whilst at the same time helping much more peaceful groups just as Hope not Hate.
