Hannah needed somewhereto_ exhibit her work to a wider audience.
It has been a huge challenge and a learning curve. It has given me the opportunity to explore my inner creatives juices.
Hannah - somewhereto_ young person.
what's your thing?
Hannah is a photographer, illustrator and surface pattern designer in Leeds who needed somewhereto_ exhibit her work to a wider audience. In particular, Hannah wanted to showcase her unique brand of 'Sharpie Art' which she has done on skateboard decks, table tops and canvases using only Sharpie pens.
how did somewhereto_ help?
With help from somewhereto_, Hannah was given an empty shop space in the bustling Leeds Corn Exchange which she used as a studio and exhibition space for a week in December. As a result of this experience, Hannah was connected with a variety of different people, and gained inspiration for new artwork.
"It has been a huge challenge and a learning curve, however one which I have welcomed as it has given me the opportunity to explore my inner creatives juices. somewhereto_has guided me to find the perfect space to showcase my work, they have helped me set up meetings, deciding on a launch event to helping set up the exhibition. I wouldn't of done it without the regional coordinators Laura and Rebecca."
