I've absolutely loved my time at No. 10, it's been great!
Wesley - somewhereto_ young person
what's your thing?
Wesley began boxing at the tender age of 12, something that went on to become a major part of his life, helping him to remain physically and mentally healthy. He's committed much of his life to boxing and wants to keep it that way!
how did somewhereto_ help?
somewhereto_ secured No. 10 Downing Street as a location for a number of young people with skills in spoken word, free running and boxing to display their talents within the walls of the UK's renowned governmental offices.
Wesley's boxing club was being shut down and this experience for him was even more paramount as it meant he had an amazing space to show off his skills and therefore keep his boxing club together for longer. See the video here.
their verdict_
"Many of us at the club have put so much into boxing and that's why we needed somewhereto_ to help us out. Otherwise that could all go to waste, as many of us will be forced to stop participating in the sport as a result. The opportunity to box at Number 10 means so much to me and everyone who is a part of the club, it helped us all to stay as a club and keep boxing in our lives." - Wesley, 17 Hertfordshire
