#FESTIV_ALT : Nottingham

Swap commercialism for community this Christmas and have a great day out while supporting local entrepreneurs and craftspeople!

somewhereto_ presents FESTIV_ALT : Nottingham – a pop-up market with a twist. We will be taking over Cobden Chambers on the 5th of December 12-5pm.

FESTIV_ALT : Nottingham will have poetry taking over COB Cafe (The Creative Occupations Bureau), free risograph workshops, market stalls, music and a Christmas carol sing along! We will also have beautiful poetry books from Mud Press, robust clothing from Platypus Clothing and hand made jewelry from Elouise Makes all for sale, perfect for some boutique Christmas shopping. The event will also be photographed by Jake Haseldine.
FESTIV_ALT is running in several venues across the UK, with sister events happening in Birmingham, Brighton, London, and Wakefield. The pop-up has been created by somewhereto_, a UK wide programme which unlocks free space for 16-25 year old creatives and entrepreneurs. The initiative is funded by a £7 million grant from the Big Lottery Fund.
