Hall of Fame: Emma Blake Morsi, Editor

Emma Blake Morsi
Age: 19
Location: Bristol
Wants to be: Editor-in-Chief of a multimedia magazine

‘I am the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Nocturnal magazine. Nocturnal is a youth-led interactive magazine and platform that uses the Arts as a medium to creatively address social and cultural issues. The magazine is a collection of digital stories made from young creatives contributing work to showcase their obsessions with the Arts.

I am currently juggling a post-student lifestyle as a digital marketing apprentice for Saffron Records with taking on invaluable opportunities within Young Arnolfini, Rising Arts Agency, Situations Rising, Watershed and Spike Island.

Working with somewhereto_ and Rising Arts Agency for the Young Artists Rising 2015 exhibition in Spike Island’s Test Space enabled me to take my personal creative practice further. The invaluable career development opportunities consisted of meeting industry experts and extending creative contacts. This developed into working even more closely with somewhereto_, delivering ‘Fusion’ a showcase collaboration with Nocturnal for late Spring 2016.’
