Have you heard of or been involved in somewhereto_ and are you interested in joining us?
Do you enjoy interacting with young people and are you able to manage a number of different stakeholders at once?
We are recruiting a member of staff to support the delivery teams across the UK. We are looking for someone who will build and maintain efficient systems of work within our fast paced and exciting environment.
This will involve being the bubbly face of somewhereto_, the first voice that young people hear and therefore the most important advocate of the programme. You will be contacting young people, and methodically dealing with their request and facilitating their experience, ensuring the somewhereto_ journey is a smooth one for both young people and space-holders.
As a UK wide programme, somewhereto_ has a large number of requests coming through our website and a large database of spaces on our system. We’re looking for a bubbly, vivacious character…
- To process all incoming requests on our database
- To contact young people to ensure all information required before they can be matched to a space
- To allocate young people to the relevant delivery team member, who is able to match them to a space
Skills and experience_
You’ll appreciate the importance of good data management and have good attention to detail, ensuring you’re able handover accurate and timely information to our delivery partners.
You will be the first person that comes into contact with the young person, and therefore the voice of somewhereto_ – we’re looking for someone who’s confident, eloquent and clear about our offer.
You can demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to not only work well with your peers, but to communicate with somewhereto_ stakeholders at all levels.
Strong and confident communication skills are essential, enabling you to be patient and kind with our young people and to build a solid relationship with our delivery teams.
Most importantly, you will have the initiative to get things done and an ability to work flexibly and adapt to meet the needs of young people through their somewhereto_ journey.
Ideally, this opportunity would be for someone who’s had some form of involvement with somewhereto_ or has an understanding of the programme.
This is a freelance contract, for 3 months, with a set fee of £1,650 pcm, 5 days pw.
Send us your CV with a short cover letter telling us why you should deliver somewhereto_ in your region. We want to hear your ideas, your experience, and most importantly, your passion for somewhereto_
