We are looking for a super sharp and motivated young person (16-25) for a short-term (2 days initially), paid job opportunity as part of the somewhereto_ team.
Role: somewhereto_ Spaceholder Relations Officer
Job Type: Temporary (2 days), with potential for more work
Salary: London Living Wage, £70 per day
Start date: ASAP
somewhereto_ is evolving in 2016, and so we’re looking to reach out and connect with spaceholders across London to tell them about this evolution.
Your role would be to call spaces, following up on some information we have sent them. This will help us shape the future of somewhereto_, a £7m UK wide project funded by the Big Lottery Fund. You would be calling up our spaceholders here in London in order to see if they would like to be involved further with somewhereto_.
There are a few key characteristics needed for this role:
- Good knowledge of somewhereto_ and the way it works
- Friendly and confident communicator
- Comfortable leading conversations over the phone
- Confident in recording the results of conversations and communicating them back to people clearly
We will guide you through the process with training, a live example phone call, a clear set of questions to run through, and some key things that we would like to find out from each spaceholder you speak to.
Initially, we would need your help for 2 working days, Friday 5th February, 09:30-17:30 (with an hour for lunch) and Monday 8th February (with the same hours).
This is a great job opportunity for you to develop some key skills in a real-life work setting, working as part of a dynamic team and feeding into the future of a highly successful programme.[/expand]
