‘My name is Piers Harrison-Reid and I’m a poet based in Norfolk. I recently performed my poetry live at Latitude Festival. I heard about a competition to get involved in the festival through a lecturer whilst studying at UEA. I sent in some examples of my poetry and videos of myself performing. Myself, alongside a few other people, were lucky enough to win the competition, and get the chance to perform at Latitude! I was also stoked because I got a free day ticket; I missed my chance to get a ticket when they first went on sale.
I had about a 30 minute set on the inbetweeners stage to a crowd of around 40 people. I was honoured to perform and got recite 4-5 of my poems. The stage was small, however it was intimate and had a really genuine feel to it.
somewhereto_ were very supportive and attentive. I have much respect for somewhereto_. ‘

Piers is a kind hearted driven individual. He is multi-talented, however his main passion is for his poetry, which he executes brilliantly. He performed live at Latitude festival after winning a somewhereto_ competition. I have to say he smashed it!
