We had a great evening celebrating the launch of somewhereto_Tottenham on Wednesday (14/10/15). It was amazing to see so many people from the community engaging in the space through performing, showcasing their art, sharing their ideas, and raising important questions, all motivated by their passion for the community and improving the lives of young people.
We started the evening with two brilliantly inspiring speech’s from Joe Gray of somewhereto_ and Councillor Joe Goldberg of Haringey Council. They set the tone for the event with their focused drive and ambition for the somewhereto_Tottenham space.
Our guests got to see somewhereto_Tottenham’s current art exhibition with pieces from Samme Snow, Frog Guts and Eleanor Johnsons and high-end tailored fashion on display from Yemzi. Thank you all so much for making the evening so dynamic and inspiring!
A massive shout out needs to go to Becky who MC’ed the evening with vibrancy and grace. You can read Becky’s story on how she co-created the somewhereto_Tottenham House Warming event to learn more about her.
We are extremely grateful to everyone in the Tottenham community for getting behind the space and coming to the launch party. We’ll be providing updates on upcoming events taking place at somewhereto_Tottenham. Watch this space!
